I’ve finally managed to take the time to upload some pre and post op photos of my eyes. I’ve taken quite a few, i am only going to post a few but I am thinking on making a photo album for them.

I know it may sound silly, but i really hate putting myself out here like this, but I am hoping that if anyone has to undergo what I did that these photos / this website can help them out.

I will post them below the cut, so if you do not want to see them you do not have to. They are not near as bad as you are probably imagining, I was quite suprised myself.

Before my surgery. The right eye (left in the pic) is the one that was removed, youc an see that it is severely discoloured and has some issues. My left eye also does, however, the vision in that eye is near perfect,

After Surgery: This was taken literally about 10 minutes after i came up from recovery. I am logging onto Facebook or twitter, no doubt. It wasn’t until I seen this pics that I realized how much weight I’ve gained. Losing weight is now on the to-do list. This pressure bandage stayed on for 4 days.

After: When my bandage was removed. This was the first time I had seen what it looked like, 4 days post op. Not near as bad as I expected.

I Do have photos of my eye open without the bandage, however, I do not have the memory card here with me so that one will have to be in another post. I’ll be sure to clearly mark it and place it under the cut as some people may have a weak stomach.
